EPH company signed a letter of intent for project cooperation with the Gilgit-Baltistan Provincial Government

On May 7, Easy Prefabricated Homes (PVT) Limited, a subsidiary of the HENAN D. R. group company, and the Gilgit-Baltistan Provincial Government of Pakistan signed a letter of intent for project cooperation in Islamabad, on low-cost housing, government construction and expansion projects, hotels, new airport construction, etc. Project, reached a comprehensive cooperation intention. Khalid Kurshid, Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Province, and relevant departments of the provincial government attended the signing ceremony. Zhang Guangfu, deputy general manager of HENAN D. R. group company and regional manager of South Asia, signed the contract on behalf of the company.
The Pakistan government established the Gilgit-Baltistan Autonomous Region as a new province in the country on November 1, 2020. The province is located in the northern part of Pakistan-controlled Kashmir. It is the northernmost area of Pakistan and is 400KM from the China-Pakistan border. The Gilgit-Baltistan province is rich in natural gas, mining and agricultural resources, and is located close to Xinjiang. It is the core area of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. The Basha Dam and other China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects are currently under construction. In particular, the province is located at the intersection of the Karakoram, Hindu Kush and Himalayas. It is rich in natural scenery resources, picturesque and has great potential for tourism development. The Pakistan government has announced a package of investment plans to support the province’s vigorous economic development.
In the next step, the EPH company will earnestly implement the Group’s overseas development strategy, conduct field visits, explore development opportunities, and carry out in-depth cooperation in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.
